On August 28, 2025, the “Tau Time” Franciscan youth prayer took placeonce again in our Christ the King Church.

Numerous youth and other visitors gathered in the sanctuary of the churchto give glory to God. Father Kilian Müller, O. Cist., from the NeuzelleMonastery (near the Polish border) and his brother priest, Father BernhardVošicky from Holy Cross Abbey in Vienna, Austria, were invited for theevening. Father Kilian presided over the time of prayer. He gave a reflectionin which he shared his vocation story with us in an enjoyable way.

During the evening there was prayer, singing of praise and worship songs(accompanied by a choir comprised of staff from the former St. ElizabethHospital), lit candles were distributed to those gathered in prayer, and theBlessed Sacrament was exposed and adored.

Fr. Killian prayed the following before the Blessed Sacrament:

“My Lord and my God,
I stand before You with wonder.
I thank You,
for You havea surprising,
adventurousand perfect plan
for each of us.

Help all of us to hear Your voice anew,
for we are Your children and You are our Father.
Amen.”

All could bring their candles to the Franciscan cross and the BlessedSacrament with their own single-word intercessions, presenting theirintentions to God. At the end of the evening there was Benediction. A joyfuland fulfilled atmosphere spread throughout.

At the very end, Father Kilian brought out some very special St. Joseph oiland individually blessed each person present with this oil.

Afterwards, as always, there was a small snack and a chance for allinvolved to chat in House St. Agnes.
